Click Scoring

updated on 10 May 2025

Introducing the Click Scoring Dashboard β€” designed to give you deeper insights into your email engagement, beyond just click counts. This is separate from your existing clicks dashboard, the new scoring dashboard shows how much each click matters.

πŸ† Why Click Scoring?

Not all clicks are equal. Some actions β€” like downloading a whitepaper, accessing a premium resource, or clicking a β€œbuy now” link β€” are higher-value than others.

Click scoring helps you:

βœ” Assign point values to each link based on its importance

βœ” See total engagement per subscriber, not just raw click numbers

βœ” Identify which links generate the most value, not just the most traffic

βœ” Understand overall campaign performance weighted by importance

πŸ–Ό Sample Scenario

Let’s say you send an email to 50 subscribers with these links:

Link Label: Product Page

URL: /product

Assigned Score: 10 points

Link Label: Whitepaper Download

URL: /whitepaper

Assigned Score: 20 points

Link Label: Contact Sales Button

URL: /contact-sales

Assigned Score: 50 points

Over time:

* Alice clicks /product and /whitepaper β†’ total 30 points.

She’s engaged with your product content and resources but hasn’t yet taken a high-value action.

* Bob clicks only /contact-sales β†’ total 50 points.

Even with fewer clicks, Bob’s single action is highly valuable β€” scoring above Alice with less activity.

* Carol clicks everything β†’ total 80 points.

Carol is both curious and committed, engaging broadly and deeply β€” making her one of your top engaged contacts.

Without scoring, you’d only see click counts.

With scoring, you understand **who is driving the most meaningful engagement** β€” helping you prioritize follow-ups, refine content strategies, or identify key audience behaviors.
